about Annie

A native Oregonian, Annie obtained her undergraduate degree in nutrition and food management at Oregon State University. Her Masters thesis work at Oregon Health and Science University gave her the opportunity to specifically explore fueling for moderate intensity exercise in a population that suffered poor exercise tolerance due to inborn errors of metabolism. Following graduate school, Annie continued working in metabolic research before joining the nutrition department at the Portland VA hospital as an inpatient dietitian in 2011. Gears shifted again in 2013 and Annie was given the opportunity to work in southeast Minnesota as a registered dietitian at the Rochester Athletic Club. There, she spent three years sharing her enthusiasm for wellness and fueling with hundreds of clients.

Since returning to her home state, Annie has provided 1:1 consulting, and currently, primarily contract RD services throughout the Rogue Valley. Annie is board certified in sports dietetics, a passion that continues to be cultivated by her hobbies. Growing up near the base of Mt. Bachelor in Bend, OR resulted in a love for blue-bird days on the slopes. She also loves to run... far. Ultra-marathon trail running has introduced her to various mountain ranges and wilderness areas and has given her hours upon hours of personal experience fueling and hydrating at various heart rates, altitudes, etc.

Happy trails!
